As part of strengthening Egyptian-Zambian relations, a delegation from the Arab Contractors Company participated in the Energy Forum for Africa (EFFA 2025), held in the Zambian capital, Lusaka. The delegation included Eng. Mohamed Elwy - Board Member, Eng. Lubna Shatla – Manager of Business Development, Strategic Studies, and Marketing; and Eng. Ahmed Mahmoud – Head of Sector. During the forum, the delegation held a series of important meetings with the Zambian Ministers of Energy and Mining, the Energy Ministers of Botswana and Mozambique, the Ministers of Trade and Infrastructure of Zambia, representatives of Zambia Development Agency (ZDA), the Mayor of Lusaka, and a number of regional and international funding institutions and organizations. The forum aims to accelerate sustainable energy development in Africa, enhance regional cooperation, and attract investments in the energy sector. The Arab Contractors participation emphasizing its active role in supporting African-African partnerships with various countries across the region.
