Luxor Governor inaugurates 2 wastewater projects in El Nemsa Village as part of the presidential initiative "Decent Life"

Eng. Abdel Mottaleb Emara - Governor of Luxor inaugurated 2 wastewater treatment plants in El Nemsa Village, which was implemented by the Arab Contractors Company under the supervision of the National Authority of Potable Water and Sewage (NOPWASD)., and within the framework of the presidential initiative "Decent Life" projects to serve about 35,000 residents of East El Nemsa – Al Qaraya – Al Masawiya Networks. The inauguration was attended by Dr. Hesham Ahmed Abou Zeid - Deputy Governor, Major General Dr. Hesham Al Shemi - Assistant Secretary General of the Governorate, Dr. Ali Sadek - Head of Esna Center and City, Eng. Ruqayya Hammad - Head of the National Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Luxor, Major General Eng. Ahmed Ramadan - Head of Luxor Water and Wastewater Company, and a number of members of the Parliament and the Senate. Also in attendance from the Arab Contractors were Eng. Mansour Shehata – Manager of the South Valley Branch, and Eng. Ahmed Sediq - Manager of Esna and Armant Projects. El Nemsa Village Wastewater Project includes (3 pumping stations 3 force mains gravity networks), where the intermediate and main El Nemsa Pumping Station have been completed, and consists of the pumping station, the operating room, a 12-m diameter well, the generator building, the security room, the warehouse, transformers, a fuel tank, and a voltage panels room. It also includes a 450mm diameter HDPE force main with a total length of 800m, a 450mm diameter force main culvert runner under Al Ramadi Canal, and gravity networks with a total length of 1300m with diameters up to 700mm plastic, with a capacity of 172 liters/second with 4 lifting pumps, each pump discharging 86 liters/second.
