On the sidelines of his visit to Egypt, Mr. Kacou Houadja Leon - the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Ivorians Abroad of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire met with Eng. Ahmed El Adalany – Board Member of the Arab Contractors Company, in the presence of Ambassador Albert Guy Dollé -Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire to Cairo. The meeting reviewed the company's work in Côte d'Ivoire in light of the distinguished Egyptian-Ivorian bilateral relations and the strengthening of joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries. They discussed the implementation of 6 wastewater treatment plants, which the company is carrying out in 6 Ivorian cities: Gagnoa, Daloa, Soubry, Séguela, Mann, and Odine for the Ministry of Water, Sanitation, and Public Health. The scope of work at each plant includes the construction of solid waste loading areas, inlet tanks and basins, sand sedimentation basins, secondary treatment systems, inlet chambers, treatment pipe networks, sludge drying basins and storage areas, the plants’ drainage networks, as well as administrative and service buildings. It's worth noting that the Arab Contractors was awarded the National Medal of Côte d'Ivoire for the implementation of Jacques Ville Bridge, which in turn contributed to promoting trade and tourism. Besides, the company implemented the expansion project of the cargo village at Abidjan International Airport, which is considered the largest logistics project there.
