On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, Dr. Badr Abdel Aati - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, visited the headquarters of the Arab Contractors Nigeria Ltd. in Abuja. He was accompanied by Ambassador Mohamed Fouad - Egypt’s Ambassador to Nigeria. The visit comes within the framework of strengthen partnerships and cooperation between major national companies and various African countries. The Minister was welcomed by Eng. Hassan Ibrahim – Board Member of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Mohamed Al Aidarous - Managing Director of the Arab Contractors Nigeria Ltd. Company, and Eng. Wael Farouk - General Manager of the company. The Minister of Foreign Affairs was briefed on the company’s projects in Nigeria, which include a number of infrastructure projects such as the construction of roads and bridges which contribute to supporting development efforts in Nigeria. Minister Abdel Aati expressed his appreciation of the role played by the Arab Contractors Company in Nigeria and the African continent, commending its high technical competence in implementing major projects across the continent. He emphasized on the full support for the company’s activities and facilitating its mission abroad, particularly in light of the political leadership’s interest in strengthening Egypt’s presence in African markets through the implementation of pivotal projects that contribute to supporting economic and social development in sister countries. At the conclusion of the visit, Minister Abdel Aati paid tribute to the company’s employees, expressing his confidence in their ability to continue their success and excellence. He emphasized that their contributions promote Egypt’s position as a key player in development efforts in Africa.
