In London, the Arab Contractors Company received Africa Business Integrity Leader Award 2025 during the ALM Africa Leadership Summit, organized by African Leadership Magazine on 9 – 10 July 2025. Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Chairman of the Arab Contractors, noted that this award reflects the company's ongoing commitment to integrity, governance, and its role in implementing development projects in more than 33 African countries, through a team of more than 70,000 employees. The award was received by Eng. Heba Abo El Ella – the Vice Chairman representing the company, during an official ceremony held at the Landmark Hotel and the House of Lords in the UK, in the presence of high-level African leaders and decision-makers. Among the projects reviewed were Julius Nyerere Hydropower Plant and Dam in Tanzania, Rod El Farag Axis in Egypt, and the presidential initiative l "Decent Life", in addition to several projects in various African countries. Eng. Ahmed El Assar expressed his thanks and appreciation to Eng. Sherif El Sherbiny - Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, for the government's continued support for the national companies in enhancing fruitful cooperation with African countries, in accordance with the directives of the political leadership. The ALM Africa Leadership Summit honored Dr. Ahmed Kouchouk – Egypt’s Minister of Finance, with the well-deserved award of the African Finance Minister of the Year 2025, a testament to the success of the Egyptian experience, which has become a global model for addressing economic challenges.
