Chadian Minister of Infrastructure: Great importance of cooperation with the Egyptian side in various fields of transportation and cooperation with Egyptian companies in implementing infrastructure,

Discussing the latest developments regarding Egypt-Chad highway project and expanding the participation of Egyptian companies specialized in infrastructure, transportation, and industrial zone projects in Chad. 
The Minister:
Egypt attaches utmost importance to Egypt-Chad land road project, which represents a vital artery for development and inter-trade, and a key axis in promoting economic integration between Egypt and Chad.
Egyptian companies specializing in infrastructure, transportation projects, and industrial zones, which have implemented major projects in Egypt and abroad, are in readiness to implement various projects in Chad and participate in its development.

Great importance of cooperation with the Egyptian side in various fields of transportation and cooperation with Egyptian companies in implementing infrastructure, transportation and regional projects.
Egypt-Chad Road is of great importance, as it is considered a bridge for trade and economic cooperation, not only for this generation but for future generations, and will represent an important starting point for cooperation between the two countries.
Lieutenant General Eng. Kamel El Wazir - Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport, met with Mr. Amir Idriss – Chadian Minister of Infrastructure, Disenclavement and Road Maintenance, in the presence of Ambassador Mohamed Abdel Karim - Ambassador of Chad, Major General Maged Abdel Hamid - Deputy Minister of Transport for Land Transport, Major General Hossam El Din Mustafa - Assistant Minister for Roads, Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Heba Abo Elala - Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, and Eng. Mohammed El Qiaay - Supervisor of the Arab Contractors Company in Chad.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport, emphasized on the strength of the bilateral relations and his happiness to participate in the activities of the International Forum for Infrastructure Development, which was held in the Chadian capital, N'Djamena, from 18-20 February 2025, with high-level Egyptian participation. He expressed his appreciation to the Chadian government and people for the warm welcome and generous hospitality that the Egyptian delegation received during its participation in the forum. 
The Minister pointed out that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi - President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, has directed to maximize cooperation with African countries, including the friendly country of Chad, pointing out that Egyptian companies specialized in the field of infrastructure, transportation projects and industrial zones, which have implemented giant projects in Egypt and abroad, are in readiness to implement various projects in Chad and participate in its development, especially with the great capabilities and distinguished experience of the Egyptian companies in Africa, where they can implement major projects in many fields such as infrastructure, transportation projects and industrial zones, pointing to the current successful experience of the Arab Contractors Company in implementing many important projects in the field of infrastructure in Chad, which embodies the efficiency and capabilities of Egyptian companies to implement various projects with the highest quality standards. 
During the meeting, the latest developments regarding Egypt-Chad (El Owainat -N'Djamena) 2,600 km land road project were discussed. The Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport indicated that Egypt attaches utmost importance to this project, which represents a vital artery for development and inter-trade, and a fundamental axis in promoting economic integration between Egypt and Chad. He stated the determination to overcome all challenges to implement this ambitious project, in Egypt's belief that it will bring about a qualitative shift in trade movement. The recent developments regarding the establishment of an integrated project for various meat, dairy and leather products were also discussed, especially with Chad's huge livestock wealth. 
the Minister of Infrastructure, Disenclavement and Road Maintenance of Chad expressed his happiness to visit Egypt and witness the tremendous development in various fields, stressing the pioneering Egyptian experience and that the Chadian side attaches great importance to cooperation with the Egyptian side in various fields of transportation to benefit from Egypt's wide spectrum experience, in addition to cooperation with Egyptian companies specialized in implementing infrastructure, transportation, development and service projects in Chad. He stated that the Chadian government attaches great importance to Egypt-Chad land road, which is considered a bridge for trade and economic cooperation not only for this generation but for future generations, and will represent an important starting point for cooperation between the two countries.
