As part of the ongoing efforts to follow up on the company's abroad projects, Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, visited Kuwait to inspect the housing project the company is implementing there. The project includes the construction, completion, and maintenance of 1,777 homes and public buildings for the Public Authority for Housing Welfare in Kuwait. The visit was attended by Eng. Awny Tawfik Moustafa – Manager Kuwait Branch. The project is a low-cost housing project and includes the construction of primary schools for boys and girls, main mosques, housing for the imam and muezzin, fire and ambulance centers, in addition to asphalt surface works, the supply and installation of low and medium voltage cables, and road lighting works. Its cost is KWD126.3 million. Eng. Awny Tawfik Moustafa explained that the project comes within the framework of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare's commitment to achieving its strategic objectives of providing integrated housing projects that contribute to improving the standard of living, supporting social development in the country, and contributing to achieving the development pillars of the New Kuwait 2035 plan. The Manager of Kuwait Branch added that the work rate has reached 3.2%, although the preparation phase is ongoing. He also pointed out that 55,000 m3 of concrete have been poured, out of a total of 370,000 m3. The visit was attended by Eng. Hesham El Sonbaty -Technical Affairs Manager at Kuwait Branch, Eng. Mohamed Omar - Project Manager, Eng. Hamdy Reda -Electromechanical Affairs Manager, Mr. Ashraf Samir - Human Resources Manager, Mr. Hesham Hegab - Financial Affairs Manager, and Eng. Ahmed Saeed - Project Planning Manager. It's worth noting that the Arab Contractors has previously implemented numerous projects, including East Taima Housing Project in Kuwait. The project, which includes the construction, completion, and maintenance of 509 modern-style homes in East Taima in Jahra Governorate, serves approximately 4,500 people and covers an area of 373,000 m2.
