Eng. Belqassem Khalifa Haftar - General Director of the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund and Executive Director of the Reconstruction Fund for Derna and Affected Areas, and Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Chairman & CEO of the Arab Contractors Company, signed three new contracts to be added to the projects implemented by the company in the city of Derna and the areas affected by Hurricane Daniel.
The new contracts included the implementation of Wadi Al-Hussain Bridge, Al-Kharouba Bridge, while the third project is Wadi Al-Kouf Road, which includes increasing its efficiency.
The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Nagy El Amdani - Director of the Fund’s Projects, Eng. Hassan Moustafa – Board Member of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Anas Al Sagheer - Supervisor of the Arab Contractors Company Branch in Libya, and Eng. Ahmed Abdel Hamid - Branch Manager.
During the signing ceremony, Eng. Belqassem Haftar praised the efforts of the Arab Contractors Company in implementing Wadi Markus and Wadi Mahboul Bridges projects, pointing out the importance of these projects in facilitating the movement of citizens and goods, and enhancing economic development.
Eng. Ahmed El Assar thanked Eng. Belqassem Haftar for his confidence in the company, pointing out that the Arab Contractors will spare no effort in implementing projects in Libya, with the best specifications and according to the time schedules.
On the other hand, Eng. Ahmed El Assar visited the Wadi Markus Bridge project, where he held a meeting with the project workers and reviewed the implementation status of the work. He toured the project, during which he met with the workers, praised their efforts in working according to a tight schedule, and asked them to exert their best efforts to complete the work according to the time schedule to serve our brothers in Libya.
