The Big Project Middle East Awards competition announced its awards at the Middle East level, New Delta Water Treatment Plant, which was implemented by the Egyptian JV of the Arab Contractors Company, Metito, Orascom Construction, and Hassan Allam, won the best project award in water projects category, as well as the best project in the electromechanical projects category.
The New Delta Water Treatment Plant, with a capacity of 7.5 million m3, is the largest in the world and was implemented under the supervision of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority.
The plant has been awarded 4 significant Guinness World Records titles.
The two awards were received on behalf of the Arab Contractors Company by Eng. Hamdy Hassan -Manager of Dubai Branch, and Eng. Yassin Ramadan – Manager of the Branch’s Technical Affairs.
