The Chairman on a business tour in Equatorial Guinea

Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Onsi Elbeshouty – Board Member, was on a visit to Equatorial Guinea, during which they met with Mr. Al Hassan Obiang - CEO of ABAYAK. This was in the presence of Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk - Chairman of the Guinean Arab Contractors Company; Mr. Emad Ebeid –Supervisor of the Financial Sector for Africa; Eng. Alaa Amer - Managing Director of the Guinean Arab Contractors Company; and Mr. Sayed Adam - Head of the Financial Sector. During the meeting, a number of topics related to the Guinean Arab Contractors Company were discussed, including the possibility of opening new business and increasing the company's work volume. Mr. Al Hassan Obiang expressed his welcome to the visit and his appreciation for the company's efforts and contributions to the development of Equatorial Guinea. Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, and the accompanying delegation also met with Egyptian Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea Haddad Abdel Tawab El Gohary, who expressed his appreciation for the company’s role in supporting Egyptian-Guinean relations and also expressed full support for the company to continue its mission. During the visit, the Chairman and the accompanying delegation visited a number of projects and headquarters of the Guinean Company and met with its employees, including the project of the operation and maintenance of Malabo Water Station and the Capital’s Water Networks, which supply the capital, Malabo, with pure drinking water. Then, they inspected the work of the company’s latest projects, which are the interior roads in Sipopo. On the sidelines of the visit, the General Assembly of the Guinean Arab Contractors Company was held, and the final accounts for the year ending on December 31, 2022, were approved. Future business and the creation of new business opportunities for the company were discussed in light of the existing competition in the local and global markets.
