Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company accompanied by Eng. Ahmed Al Adalany, and Eng. Heba Abul Ella – AC’s Board Members were in a visit to Cameroon, during which they met with a number of senior officials of the Cameroonian government, led by His Excellency Mr. Joseph Dion Ngute - Prime Minister of Cameroon, Mr. Jules Doret Ndongo - Minister of Forests and Wildlife, Mr. S?raphin Magloire Fouda - Secretary General at the Prime Minister's Office, and Mr. Jean-Honor? Tchoupou - Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy, in the presence of Mr. Emad Ebeid –Supervisor of the Financial Sector for Africa Sector and Eng. Ashraf Fahmy - Managing Director of the Arab Contractors Cameroon Ltd.
The meetings dealt with discussing the ongoing projects implemented by the Arab Contractors Cameroon Ltd. as well as future projects. The officials expressed their satisfaction and appreciation for the quality level of the work carried out by the company, and their full welcome to expand the scope of the company's work, especially in light of the distinguished relations between Egypt and at the level of political leadership in both brotherly countries as well as at the popular level.
On the other hand, Eng. Ahmed El Assar – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, and his entourage visited the site of the quarry materials crusher in Ailumden area and followed up on the distinguished production rates for it. He also inspected the work site of Boucle-Lequiere Road, which has a length of 81.5 km. The implementation rate amounted to 21% of the total contract valued at 40 million euros, and work progress is according to the time schedule.
The construction of the Ring Road for the northern entrance to the capital, Yaound?, with a length of 27.2 km and a value of 32 million euros, was also inspected. Contracting procedures and the necessary permits are ongoing.
On the sidelines of the visit, the General Assembly of Arab Contractors Cameroon Ltd held under the chairmanship of Eng. Ahmed El Assar, in the presence of Mr. Sioui Monte – the Local Partner. They explored the financial statement for 2022, business performance rates, and the collection status of implemented projects.
