The Chadian President inaugurates the new headquarters of the Foreign Affairs Ministry

The Chadian Minister of Foreign Affairs thanks the Egyptian authorities and Arab Contractors Company. General Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno - President of the Republic of Chad inaugurates the new headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chadians Abroad, and International Cooperation, which was carried out by the Arab Contractors Company within the distinguished Egyptian-Chadian relations during the era of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. In his speech, Ambassador Mahamat Saleh Annadif - Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chadians Abroad, and International Cooperation, thanked the Egyptian authorities for their continuous support for the development of cooperation between the two brotherly countries, which was recently embodied in the construction of this building. He also thanked the Arab Contractors Company, which uniquely designed and implemented the headquarters according to state-of-the-art construction techniques. Eng. Sayed Farouk - CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, stated that the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chadians Abroad, and International Cooperation is a significant addition to the company's work in Chad. It is also a testament to the Egyptian role in the African continent, which is to spread development and transfer experiences to our brothers. This is the direction of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, and the Egyptian Government supports it significantly and continuously. For his part, Eng. Emam Afify – Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, confirmed that this project reflects the distinguished Egyptian-Chadian relations at the official and popular levels, and the firm Egyptian belief in supporting development efforts in the African continent in general and in the sister countries of Chad in particular, which comes in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to have fruitful and constructive cooperation with African brothers in all fields, which is what the Arab Contractors Company is working to achieve in all its development projects in the African continent. The celebration ceremony was witnessed by a large number of ministers, ambassadors, senior statesmen, Ambassador Osama El-Hadi – Egypt's Ambassador to Chad, Mr. Hossam Imam – Vice Chairman, Dr. Onsy Elbeshouty - Board Member, and Eng. Mohammed El Qiaay - Chad Branch Manager, who declared that the project was built on a total area of about 19000 m2 and the buildings’ total area is about 4000 m2. The project consists of 2 typical towers, each one of them has 7 floors and a ground floor. There is a crossover linking the 2 towers from the fifth floor. The building includes 146 administrative offices and 4 conference rooms ranging in capacity from 1000 to 350 to 250 people. It also includes a number of service buildings and is equipped with the latest lighting, alarm, fire, and central air conditioning systems. It is worth noting that the Arab Contractors Company, in light of the close relations between Egypt and Chad, has implemented a large number of development projects there, including the five-star Kempinski Hotel in N'Djamena, Central Bank – Abeche, Massaguet-Pisni road with a length of 85.5 km, the Massaguet-Massakory road with a length of 71.5 km, Bokoro - Arboutchatak road with a length of 66.5 km and Arboutchatak - Bitkine road with a length of 76 km. The company is currently implementing Alexandria University branch in N’Djamena. The project includes 2 faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture and the work of consolidating the Guelengdeng - Bongor road and constructing 10 km of roads within the city of Bongor. The Arab Contractors also recently won Abeche – Abou Goulem road project, which is affiliated to the Ministry of Infrastructure in Chad, and the financing agency is the Islamic Development Bank. The Abeche - Abou Goulem road is part of the international road that connects N'Djamena, the capital of Chad and Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. Abeche is 1,000 kilometers east of the Chadian capital.
