The Arab Contractors Company won a number of awards which were announced by "Construction Week Awards Egypt 2021" at a ceremony held for the first time in Egypt. The Arab Contractors won at the following categories:
RESIDENTIAL PROJECT OF THE YEAR: Construction and finishing of 78 buildings in the 3rd district at the New Administrative Capital.
MEDICAL CARE PROJECT OF THE YEAR: The injuries and emergency hospital in Assiut University.
ENGINEER OF THE YEAR: Eng. Mofida Allam, Road Consultant - Head Sector Supervisor of Chairman Office & Laboratories Sector & Development for her several contributions in the building and construction field.
Orascom Construction and the Arab Contractors jointly won awards in 2 projects:-
TRANSPORTATION PROJECT OF THE YEAR: Cairo Metro Line 3, Phase 4B.
WATER PROJECT OF THE YEAR: Bahr El Baqar Water Treatment Plant.
The awards were received during the ceremony by Eng. Tarek Sakr, Dr. Mohamed Youssef and Eng. Ahmed Abbass – AC Board Members and Eng. Khaled Ewiss – Commercial Manager of Bahr El Baqar Water Treatment Plant.
