The Congolese Prime Minister received the Deputy Minister of Housing and a delegation of Arab Contractors Company

The Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo - Sama Lukonde Kyenge received Eng. Khaled Abbas - Deputy Minister of Housing for National Projects and Eng. Sayed Farouk - CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, in the presence of the Egyptian Ambassador to Congo Hamdi Shaaban, and Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk – AC Board Member. During the meeting, the Congolese Prime Minister expressed his happiness with the relations between the two countries and the great development they are witnessing. He thanked the Arab Contractors Company for the commitment and the highest quality that characterizes its projects. Eng. Khaled Abbas emphasized on Egypt's support for development projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and its full readiness for further cooperation with the Congolese brothers. Eng. Sayed Farouk - CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company confirmed his welcome to the Congolese market, declaring that the company seeks to implement more projects and has received a great welcome from the brothers in Congo. He pointed out that the company has recently awarded a road project in the Democratic Republic of Congo with a length of 150 km, at a cost of 110 million Euros, which includes the construction of 3 bridges of different lengths for road intersections, as well as the establishment of 33 industrial works to drain rainwater and protect the road. Eng. Sayed Farouk added that the road connects the provinces of Kamwesha-Kananga. Besides, the company started the construction project of the Congolese Ministry of National Defense’s Headquarter in Kinshasa, which it won through a tender, and it consists of 5 floors. In addition to a number of road projects and water networks. This was in the presence of Mr. Emad Ebeid –Supervisor of the Financial Sector for Africa Sector and Eng. Hassan Hassoun – Managing Director of The Arab Contractors RDC and highly officials of the Infrastructure and Public Works Ministry.
