A delegation from the JV of the Arab Contractors Company and Elsewedy Electric Company visited Tanzania to follow up the project of Julius Nyerere Dam and Hydropower Plant. The delegation included Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Senior Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Wael Hamdi - Vice President of Elsewedy Electric Company, Eng. Hossam El Din El Reefy – AC Board Member and Eng. Hisham Hegazy- CEO of Elsewedy Electric PSP. The delegation inspected the different work sites and reported about the project updates concerning the ongoing works in the main dam, water tunnels for turbines and the power house building.
Besides, the inspection of the main bridge which links between Rufiji River and the project.
The delegation was received and accompanied by Eng. Ayman Attia, Eng. Hossam El Nozhy - Contractor's representative to the Client, and the managers of the different projects Eng. Osama Shawkt, Eng. Ayman Abdou, Eng. Nada Atef and Eng. Sary Soliman. A follow up meeting on the executive position of the projects was also held, and the Board of the JV had stressed the necessity to adhere with the highest quality standards for the ongoing works.
