Eng. Kamel El Wazeer – The Minister of Transport was accompanied by officials from the ministry and General Authority for Roads and Bridges to inspect the development of the Ring Road sectors. Then, he inspected the finishing of El Salam Bridge in El Asher Bus Station which is carried out by the Arab Contractors Company. He was received by Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk – Board Member, Eng. Hassan Moustafa – Head of Bridges Sector and Eng. Yasser Sadek – Manager of Bridges and Specialized Structures Department. The bridge implementation rate reached 99.5%. The total length of the bridge is 1300m and 30m width. It is implemented by using precast and prestressed beams. The bridge will contribute to eliminating the traffic jams in El Salam Tunnel which occurs throughout the past period. This tunnel will be a one way from El Marg to New Cairo and the bridge will be from New Cairo to El Marg.
