The Arab Contractors is nominated to top-spot in the final shortlists of "The Big 5 Construction Impact Awards" in Dubai

DMG events unveiled its shortlist for the inaugural “Big 5 Construction Impact Awards”, the awards ceremony will take place on 12th September 2021 at Dubai World Trade Centre alongside The Big 5 - the only live in-person event gathering the global construction industry this year.

The Vice President at DMG events declared that The Big 5 Construction Impact Awards have received entries from hundreds of leading architectural, engineering and construction businesses operating across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. The building and construction industry throughout the Middle East and Africa expects a strong rebound this year and is one of the fastest growing markets in global context.

There were 15 award categories, while only 54 companies qualified for shortlists. The Arab Contractors Company was honored to be the most nominated company in various award categories with 6 nominations in accordance with the decision of the Arbitration Commission composed of global experts. Consequently, the Arab Contractors is leading world-class building and construction companies in South Asia, Africa and Middle East in the following categories:
(1)  “Sustainable Initiative of the Year” for the initiative of the “Reuse of removed asphalt crushing materials as base layers” under the supervision of Eng. Mofida Allam the Supervisor of the Laboratories, Researches and Development Sector with the following competitors: Dubai Municipality, Dubai Authorities, Emaar Jordan GBC Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and Turner & Townsend.
(2)  “Partnership of the Year” for the following partnership:
•  The Arab Contractors and Elsewedy Electric
•  Hassan Allam Construction, Metito, Orascom and The Arab Contractors Company

(3)  “Workforce of the future initiative”: for the following projects of the ICEMT:

1.  Superintendent: The Guardians of Quality Construction Work.
