Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO & Chairman of the Arab Contractor Company inspected the work progress of the Central Park (Green River) – first phase in the New Administrative Capital. He was accompanied by Eng. Emam Afify – Vice Chairman, Eng. Samir Saad Allah – Member of the Executive Board, Eng. Hossam El Nozahy – Head of Cairo Sector and Nasr City, Eng. Sameh Sayed – Project Manager and Eng. Mohamed Nazih – Deputy Manager in Alexandria Branch. It is a noteworthy that the area implemented by the Arab Contractors Company in the Central Park is 136 thousands feddan. It includes 1800000m3 cutting works and 300000m3 of filling works. In addition to the leveling works, construction of roads and main and sub networks for utilities, building works and cultivation. The central park is representing the Egyptian civilization; it will be the link between the urban districts. Besides, it will be one of the distinguished parks in the Middle East and worldwide, its length is more than 10 km, total area exceeds 1000 feddan, consequently it is one of the world biggest parks. It is divided from east to west into 3 sectors which includes: Islamic garden, indoor garden, social club, integrated health resort, lakes and restaurants, garden for artistic works, archeological park, recreational park, areas for ceremonies and open theater, educational garden for kids, open library and reading gardens, central area and restaurants and recreational sporting club.
