The Arab Contractors Company receives The Big 5 Impact Awards

On the sideline of The Big 5 Construct Egypt’s conference and exhibit which held at Cairo International Convention Centre in Nasr City, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt  and supported by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities; yesterday was the ceremony of The Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards for 2021 as a platform to highlight the most significant achievements of construction and infrastructure projects in Egypt, pioneers and young engineers in the construction field, and inclusion, diversity and innovation initiatives. The ceremony was attended by Eng. Sayed Farouk – President & CEO of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Ahmed El Assar – Senior Vice Chairman, Eng. Imam Afify – Vice Chairman, AC’s Board Members: Dr. Eng. Mohamed Youssef, Eng. Ahmed Abbass, Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk and Eng. Osama Moustafa; besides the members of the Executive Board and heads of the executive sectors of the company. Arab Contractors Company won “Young Male Construction Professional of the Year”: Engineer Abdulhay M. Badawy. Cairo Metro – Line 3 – Phase 4B has been named “MEP (MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL & PLUMBING) Project of the Year” and Eng. Mahmoud El Sharnouby – Head of Electromechanical Projects Sector received the award. Eng. Sherif Hamdy – Manager of the Arab Contractors Institute for Construction Engineering and Management Technologies (ICEMT) also received the Youth Engagement Initiative of the Year for the program of “Bridging the Gap between Higher Engineering Education & Construction Requirements”. Besides, Cairo Monorail Projects won a joint award between Innova Transportation, Orascom Construction and The Arab Contractors Company, which received by Eng. Heba Abo El-Ala – Deputy Manager of Bridges Department. It is noteworthy that The Big 5 Construct Egypt 2021 will continue until 29 June, and host more than 180 brands in building and construction field from 18 countries, along with 35 free educational workshops.
