Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces inspects the Parliament Building in the New Administrative Capital


Major General Ihab El Farr – Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces inspected the Parliament Building in the New Administrative Capital which is carried out by the Arab Contractors Company under the supervision of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces.
He was accompanied by Major General Hesham El Swefy - Managing Director of the Military Engineers Department, Major Gen. Emad Saafan - Assistant Manager of the Head of the Engineering Authority, Officials from the Engineering Authority, Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO and President of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Ahmed El Assar – Senior Vice Chairman, Eng. Ahmed Abbass – Board Member and managers of the executing branches and department.
It is a noteworthy that the Parliament Building is built upon 110000m, it consists of the main building, the services building and the landscape works includes the fences, internal roads and the green areas.
The main building is built on 18000m; it includes a main hall which accommodates 1000 member, administrative offices; it comprises a basement, a ground floor, 8 typical floors, 2 domes with 50m diameter.
The project includes services buildings of: medical center – security– power station– electromechanical – firefighting - mosque accommodates 300 persons – multi storey garages built on 75.000m which accommodates 1500 cars.
