Today 5th November 2020, Dr. Assem El Gazzar – Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities travelled to Tanzania to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the Tanzanian President Dr. John Magufuli on behalf of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi which took place in Dodoma the capital city of Tanzania.
It is scheduled that the Housing Minister will have a visit to Julius Nyerere Dam and Hydropower Plant which is carried out by the JV of the Arab Contractors Company and Elsewedy Electric Company on Rufiji River in Tanzania. He was accompanied by Major Gen. Mahmoud Nassar –Head of the Central Authority for Development, Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO and President of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Ahmed Elsewedy – Chairman of Elsewedy Electric Company, Eng. Ahmed El Assar - Senior Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company to inspect the works implementation, follow up the updates and ensure the work progress of the project.
