Eng. Sayed Farook insects the Parliament Building and Egypt Islamic Cultural Center


Eng. Sayed Farook – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company inspected the company projects of the Parliament Building and Egypt Islamic Cultural Center in the New Administrative Capital which are executed by the company under the supervision of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces. He was accompanied by Eng. Emam Afify – Vice Chairman, Eng. Ahmed Abbass – Board Member, Eng. Khaled Eissa – Member of the Executive Board, Eng. Mahmoud El Sharnoby – Head of Electromechanical Works Sector, heads of sectors and managers of the participated branches and departments in the project implementation.
The general site of the project is built upon 126000 m2. It comprises the Parliament’s building (main building), service building, landscape which includes the wall, internal roads and green areas.
The Parliament Building is built upon 18000m, it includes a main hall accommodates 1000 members and administrative offices. It consists of a basement, a ground floor, 8 typical floors, 3 domes 50m diameter. Besides, it comprises number of services buildings which includes the medical center, security building, electricity power station, electromechanical building, firefighting station, car parks accommodates 675 cars.
Egypt Islamic Cultural Center is built upon a mountain with 24m height in the governmental district. It includes a mosque, number of services building, cultural and trading centers.
