Arab Contractors Company continues its works in Uganda

Eng. Mohsen Salah – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company announced that the AC’s branch in Uganda continues its works despite the crisis of the spread of novel Coronavirus. The sons of the Arab Contractors Company overcome the ordeal and complete their works in the different projects, such as: Pallisa-Kamankoli Road (lot 2), that the initial delivery of a section of the road has been completed and it reached 45% of the total road which is 44km and total value 61 million US$. The signed contract with the Ugandan Authority for Roads requires the completion and delivery of only 30% thus the company completed the sector in less time than the scheduled in the contract. This is the second time in the history of the Ugandan Authority for Roads that the company completed 40% of Terini –Pallisa Koomi (lot1) with a length of 67km and total value 81 million US$ in last January before the scheduled time in contract and according to the required technical specifications. Consequently, the Vice President of the Republic of Uganda awarded the Arab Contractors Company certificate of special recognition as the best visionary international building and housing construction company of 2018 and 2019. Eng. Mohsen declared that despite the crisis of Coronavirus, the AC’s Africa Sector has overcome all the obstacles caused by the applicable curfew and the lack the availability of some equipment spare parts. He added all preventive procedures are applied to save the health of the Egyptian and Ugandan workers. It is a noteworthy that the Arab Contractors Company is carrying out Masaka-Boukakata project with 41km length and total value 45 million US$.
