H.E. Edward Ssekandi Kiwanuka – the Vice President of the Republic of Uganda awarded the Arab Contractors Company certificate of special recognition as the best visionary international building and housing construction company of the year 2019. This certificate of recognition is for the outstanding contributions of the company towards achieving Uganda aspirations and vision 2040.
Eng. Mohsen Salah – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company stated that and declared that this honoring is due to the extreme keenness of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El Sisi towards the Egyptian relation with the African countries in the light of the Egypt presidency of the African Union, this in addition to the commitment and good fame of the Arab Contractors Company in Africa. He added that the current work volume of the company’s projects in Uganda reached 200 million US$ approximately.
Eng. Mohsen Salah pointed out that the AC is currently carrying out many projects in Uganda such as: Terini – Pallisa Koomi with a length of 67km and total value 80 million US$, Pallisa-Kamankoli Road with a length of 44km and total value 59 million US$, Masaka-Boukakata 41km length and total value 46 million US$ and the construction and rehabilitation of Kayounga Hospital with total value 14 million US$. The Ugandan Authority for Roads and the Ministry of Health praised the quality and completion rate of the works
The Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company stated that we implemented several projects in Uganda, for example: the construction of Mulago Hospital in Kampala for the beneficiary the Ugandan Ministry of Health, protection works for flood mitigation in Kasese District…in addition to many educational, commercial buildings and roads.
