Dr. Assem El Gazar – the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities and Dr. Alaa Abdel Haleem – El Qalyubia Governor visited Sariakous Water Station in Qalyubia. It is built upon a total area of 34000m2. Currently, the station is prepared for the commissioning test. This was in the presence of Eng. Hassan El Far - Head of the Executive Authority for Water and Wastewater, Eng. Mamdouh Raslan - Chairman of the Holding Company for Water and Waste Water, Eng. Emam Afify –Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company which carrying out the project, Eng. Ahmed Abbass – AC Board Member, Eng. Mohammed Ibrahim – Manager of Nasr City Branch, Eng. Ibrahim El Sayed – Area Manager. Dr. Assem El Gazar said that the productivity capacity of the station is 145000m3/day. It is working with the DynaSand system (the Dynamic Sand Filter), it is distinguished by the traditional system of the clarifiers and filters' units. The minister added that the station is serving 1million people in the villages of:( the Armed Forces' station – Sariakous – west side of Ezzab Sariakous – Arab El Ayaida – El Gabl El Asfar – El Qalg – Sandou – El Manayel – Kafr Hamza). Dr. Alaa Abdel Haleem – El Qalyubia Governor praised the giant project which serves a huge sector of the governorate's inhabitants. He thanked the Ministry of Housing for their efforts in the execution of the project.
