Dean of the African Group of Ambassadors stated that the African continent will move forward due to President Al Sisi's efforts and praised the great role of the Arab Contractors Company in Africa

Dr. Mohamadou Labarang - Cameroon Ambassador to Egypt and the Dean of the African Group of Ambassadors expressed his confidence that the African continent will move forward during the current chairmanship of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi of the African Union. He said that during the opening of the cultural sporting events on "Africa Day" that coincidence with the 56th anniversary of the founding of the Organization of African Unity (OAU). This was in the presence of 17 ambassadors and members of African communities in Cairo on 4th May 2019 at the Arab Contractors Sporting Club in Al Gabl Al Akhdar. The Dean of the African Group of Ambassadors stated that the united Africa is the strong Africa. He praised the great role of the Arab Contractors Company in different African countries. Dr. Labarang said that nowadays we are witnessing the exerted efforts of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi for achieving development and flourishing in Egypt. He added that celebrating "Africa Day" is a chance to demonstrate the variety of the African sectors, besides focusing on the skills of the African youth "the Future Continent". Mr. Abdel Hameed Bouzayed – Ambassador of the African Union in Cairo expressed his happiness to celebrate in Egypt "Africa Day" that coincidence with the anniversary of founding the Organization of African Unity. He pointed out that the African Union currently has a reference document which is "2063 Agenda". This agenda is forming the future vision of Africa in 2063 that coincidence with the centenary of the "the Organization of Unity". The celebration includes artistic shows from different African countries: folklore and fashion shows, painting and handmade exhibition. In addition to these, the sporting activity which finalized by a football match in the playground of the junior team at AC Sporting Club; and it was attended by the ambassadors of Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Cameroon, South Africa, Angola, Sudan, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Liberia, Eritrea, Zambia, Cameroon, Uganda, Congo, Namibia, Chad and Nigeria. From the Arab Contractors Company, the attendees were Eng. Amany Khodeir – Head of Africa Projects' Follow Up Department, Mr. Galal Farag – the Supervisor of the Arab Contractors Sporting Club and Mrs. Faten El Shorbagy – Assistant of the Vice Chairman of the AC Sporting Club and the Supervisor of the Cultural and Social Activity in the Club.
