Eng. Mohsen Salah Inspects Cairo International Stadium and the Parliament Building in the New Administrative Capital


Within the framework of the following up for the national projects on site, Eng. Mohsen Salah – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company inspected the development works of Cairo International Stadium as a preparation for hosting Africa Cup of Nations. This was in the presence of Gen. Aly Darweesh – Head of Cairo Stadium Authority, Eng. Emam Afify – the Vice President of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Ahmed Abbass – Board Member of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Sayed Shendi – Head of Greater Cairo Sector, Eng. Osama El Desouki – Manager of Massara Shipyard Department, Eng. Nagy Attia – Deputy Manager of Nasr City Branch and a number of the leaders from the Engineering Authority which supervising the project. Then, Eng. Mohsen and his companions visited the New Administrative Capital to inspect the Parliament's Building in the governmental district which its implementation rate reached 90% of the concrete works for the main building and the concrete pouring of 128.000m3 out of 150.000m3. Eng. Mohsen was accompanied by Eng. Khaled Eissa – Member of the Executive Board, Eng. Mahmoud El Sharnouby – Head of Electromechanical Projects Sector, Eng. Tarek Khedr – Head of the Construction and Specialized Works Sector, Eng. Mohammed Elwi – Manager of the Distinguished Buildings Department, Eng. Mohammed Youssef – the Supervisor of the Electrical Works, Eng. Mohammed Khedr – the Manager of the Electrical Works Department, Eng. Tarek Marzouk – Manager of the Sanitation and Finishing Works Department, Eng. Salam Rashad – Manager of the Electromechanical Works for Public Buildings and Utilities and Eng. Tarek Safy El Din – the Deputy Manager of the Distinguished Buildings Department. It is a noteworthy that the company is carrying out the development works and increasing the efficiency of the stadium and equipping it according to the international standards. The AC is executing the parliament which is a main building including the followings: a basement – a ground floor – 8 typical floors with a height of 65m, a main hall accommodates 1000 member, offices accommodates 3200 employees, 2 domes (the first is a central metal dome with 50m diameter and the second is a higher concrete dome with 57m diameter); the building is surrounded by 6 doors (2 main doors – 4 aside doors); in addition to the construction of 6 service buildings and the landscaping works.
