Dr. Moustafa Madbouli - the Prime Minister and the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities stated that President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi putting the project of Rufiji's Dam in Tanzania under his supervision and will follow it up the same as the executed projects in Egypt. He declared that the project will create opportunities for the Egyptian companies for many projects wither in Tanzania or other African countries. This was during the meeting of the Prime Minister with Eng. Mohsen Salah – Chairman and CEO of the Arab Contractors Company to follow up the arrangements of the launching of the execution works of Rufiji's Dam in Tanzania. The project will be executed by the joint ventures between the Arab Contractors Company and Elsewedy Electric Company. The meeting was in the presence of Eng. Randa El Menshawy - Deputy Housing Minister for the Utilities Affairs and the Supervisor of the Prime Minister's Office, Eng. Sayed Farouk – AC Senior Vice President, Eng. Ibrahim Mabrouk – Head of Africa Sector and Mr. Emad Ebeid – Head of the Financial Sector of Africa Sector. During the meeting Dr. Madbouli directed the Egyptian Joint Ventures to gather their different capabilities to accomplish this important project that the project's works should be carried out by the best teamworks and setting up a condensed time schedule to executed the project's phases. The Prime Minister said that the joint ventures should has a message of trust delivered to the Tanzanian people that we are able to execute the project on time and according to the highest quality. Eng. Mohsen Salah provided the Prime Minister with the details of the arrangements of the launching of the project execution. Eng. Mohsen declared that the opening of different banking accounts is ongoing, the finalization of the paper-based procedures and the implementation of the designing and its revision through the consulting engineering office. He declared that within days the teamwork will be in Tanzania and will include a surveying team. He pointed out that there will be contracts with a number of the Tanzanian companies specialized in insurance and tree removal from the work site of the dam; in addition to the cooperation with a number of local contractors which will provide business opportunities in Tanzania. Eng. Mohsen emphasized on our keenness to be as confident as the political leadership trust on us and looking forward to meet the development hopes of the Tanzanian people. It is a noteworthy that this meeting will be the beginning of a monthly based periodical meetings to follow up the execution statue of the dam project to generate the hydroelectric power on Rufiji's River basin in Tanzania.
