President Abdel Fattah El Sisi was inspecting the construction site of "Tunnel - Sharm El Sheikh Road". He was welcomed by Major General Kamel Al Wazir - Head of Engineering Authority for the Armed Forces and leaders from the authority. Eng. Mubarak Mansour – Manager of Sinai Branch stated that the road is starting from Martyr Ahmed Hamdy Tunnel to Sharm El Sheikh with 342 km length; the Arab Contractors Company is executing 60km from it… starting from Saint Catherine intersections till El Toor City, and from Ras Mohammed Reserve to Sharm El Sheikh Gate. He added that the AC Company participated in representing Sharm El Sheikh in the best image to the whole world through the "World Youth Forum". The Arab Contractors Company developed and beautified the followings: El Salam Road (2 phases), the Airport Road, touristic area of Nabq Bay, the old market district and transferring it into "the Eastern Champs-Elysees ", the Plateau area and protecting it from destruction, the culture area and the square of the peace icon, the construction of the Middle Road "Ibn Sina" and El Sadaqa square. Eng. Yasser Mahsoub – the Deputy Branch Manager declared that Major Gen. Kamel El Wazir praised the Arab Contractors efforts by describing it by "the reconstruction battalion" after the visit of the President. Eng. Mahsoub added that the company implemented the infrastructure works for all sites of the World Youth Forum; that it paved and beautified all the leading roads for the conferences rooms, the internal roads and the car parks. In addition to theses; it has equipped the external ceremony site for the meeting between the youth and the President in the site of the Monument of Humanity which embraces one of the high mountains of Sharm El Sheikh. The works included the equipping of the site, paving entrances and exits and internal roads of the site, fences, sidewalks, landscaping, agriculture works, construction and beautification of areas for the artistic shows and large parking areas for buses.
