Eng. Mohsen Salah announced that the Arab Contractors Company has been awarded the contract of the designing and construction of Rufiji's Dam and Power Plant in Stiegler's Gorge area in Tanzania. The project is joint ventures between the Arab Contractors Company and Elsewedy Electric Company. The Tanzanian Government is considering this project one of the most important national projects for electricity generation. Eng. Mohsen Salah thanked President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for supporting the company in expanding its project into Africa. Eng. Mohsen Salah stated that this project is within the framework of Egypt great eagerness under the leadership of President El Sisi to support the development efforts in Nile Basin countries, he expressed his happiness of the Egyptian continued leadership role in the Black Continent and supporting the African in achieving development. The clear proof of this that the Tanzanian President wants that the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi makes the dam construction project under his direct supervision the same as the mega national projects ongoing in Egypt under the supervision of the Engineering Authority for the Armed Forces which signified by its accuracy and commitment in addition to the high standard of execution quality, all these reflects the appreciation of the African brothers for the ongoing Egyptian national projects and their keenness on transferring the Egyptian experience. Eng. Mohsen pointed out that the company competed with international companies and win the contract for its great fame inside Egypt and abroad.
