H.H. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly – the Prime Minister and the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities toured the executed works of utilities and the residential districts in the New Administrative Capital. Besides, he hold a meeting with the chairmen of the contracting companies which executing the different projects to push the work progress. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly said that the total area of the 3rdresidential district “Capital Residence”, which is executing under the supervision of the Ministry of Housing, is about 1000 feddans and divided into 8 neighborhoods including: the villas area (328 villas), residential buildings (699 buildings – 19992 housing units), a town house (157 buildings – 624 housing units), commercial residential areas (64 buildings – 1536 housing units – 584 commercial units), that the district has a total number of 22480 housing units in addition to the different services buildings. Dr. Madbouly follow up the handing over plan for the units of the 3rd district “Capital Residence” with Mr. Mohamed Abdel Maksoud - the Head of the New Administrative Capital’s Council during inspecting the units, he stated that 7048 housing units (241 buildings) in the neighborhoods no. 1 and 8 will be handed over on 12/2018, 10376 housing units (366 buildings) in the neighborhoods no. 2 – 6 – 7 will be handed over on 6/2019 and 2568 housing units (92 buildings) in the neighboring no. 3 will be delivered on 12/2019. He declared that for the neighborhoods no. 4 and 5 “villas” which includes 952 housing units (485 buildings) were divided as a project into 3 phases; the 1t phase will be delivered on 12/2018, the last phase will be on 12/2019. It is a noteworthy that the Arab Contractors Company is carrying out 78 residential buildings in the district R3. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Eng. Mohsen Salah – AC Chairman & CEO, Eng. Emam Afify – Vice Chairman, Eng. Ahmed Abbass – Board Member and Eng. Mofida Allam – the Consultant for Roads Projects of the AC and the Supervisor of the Laboratory Sector.
