President of Menia University Inaugurated the First Phase of the University Liver Hospital

Major General Essam El Bedewi – Menia Governor and Dr. Gamal Aboul Magd – President of Menia University inaugurated the First Phase of the University Hospital for Liver and Digestive System, which is the largest and most modern university liver hospital in Egypt. The Governor and the University President praised the quality of the works which executed by the branch of North Upper Egypt with a total cost 110 million EGP out of a total of 145 million EGP. Eng. Ahmed Abdel Rahman – the Project Manager declared that the First Phase consisting of a ground floor includes 4 rooms for the laparoscopic surgery, rooms for recovery – residence – outpatient clinics - emergency - changing clothes and storage. In addition to 16 rooms for patients with a capacity of 31 beds, a pharmacy, a morgue,  and a store, as well as a five-storey building in the sea suite includes 64 rooms for patients with a capacity of 83 beds. The Second Phase is ongoing which includes 8 intensive care rooms, 5 large operation theater, a central sterilization suite, reception rooms, radiology, analysis, lecture halls and administrative offices.
