H.H. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly - Prime Minister and the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities toured the work progress of different projects in New El Alamein City and urged to accomplish the First Phase of the city which includes the coastal area, the distinguished housing area, the universities, the cultural and heritage city by 2020. Eng. Yasser Hamouda – Managing Director of New El Alamein City declared that the work of the tourist walkway was completed with a length of 5.5 km, and the completion of the inlets bridges no. 3 & 4 reached 100%; Bridge no. 1% by 85% and the work of piles in Bridge No. 2 is ongoing. Each bridge with a total length 400m, 45m width and 8m above the sea level. In addition to these, the works for El Tabba Restaurant and El Hammamat area were implemented, the completion of 60% of formation works of the lakes sides. Besides; the beginning of the works of barriers and breakers. The project of the 3 towers which is executed by the AC Company, the deep foundations is implemented, the pouring of columns, walls, basement roof of the Eastern tower and pouring the raft for the West tower and deep foundations works for the Third tower. The work is ongoing for the soil investigation of 3 bridges on the South of Marina to avoid the intersection of the coastal road, the railway and Wadi El Natroun with the South of Marina road which is a continuation of the alternative El Alamein Coastal Road which is executed by the AC Company with a total length 38km and has been operated.
