AC Chairman Met with Members of the Trade Union Committee of the Company's Workers

Eng. Mohsen Salah – AC Chairman met with the members of the trade union committee of the company's workers after obtaining the approval of the General Union of Workers in Construction and Wood Industries to form the Board of Directors of the committee for the trade union session 2018/2022. In the beginning, Eng. Mohsen Salah congratulated the members of the committee, and stated that it is great responsibilities and they should be committed to it and exhorts their best efforts simply because they represent more than 70 000 workers of the company. Eng. Mohsen declared that recently the Arab Contractors Company is witnessing the implementation of an unprecedented volume of work in its history for 64 years as the company participates in the implementation of a large number of major national projects launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. In terms of implementation of these projects in the shortest possible time and quality required, it requires the efforts of workers in the trade union committee to communicate directly with employees in various locations inside Egypt and emphasize the importance of commitment and continuous development of the performance of workers in order to support the company national role. AC Chairman pointed out the need for the members of the committee to communicate continuously with the workers in order to discuss any legitimate demands of the employees and solve any problem of the workers which will contribute into organizing the work progress rate and increase the productivity. He urged the committee to prioritize the clarification of the true image of the company and the role it plays in the field of building and construction, as well as caution against any rumor among the workers in order to have a negative impact on them. For his part, Mr. Hossam El-Din Imam, Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, said that the company's current work volume reached 20.192 billion EGP, with a growth rate of 13.68% and 126.2% of the target plan. These results reflect the company's good performance in its national projects, and its leading role in the Egyptian contracting sector. On the other hand, the AC Company always strives to provide the best privileges to its employees, especially the medical care system where the worker of the AC Company has a medical system without a maximum. During the current fiscal year, there are periodical, special and exceptional bonuses added to the workers. Mr. Hossam stated that the new members of the union will have all the support of the senior leadership, wishing them success in the performance of their duties. At the end of the meeting, the members of the committee thanked the Board of Directors for their support and promised to exert all efforts to achieve the interests and benefits of the workers in the Arab contractors Company in accordance with being the largest company in the building and construction industry in Egypt and the Middle East.
