Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab on Surprise Visit to New Capital Project and Rod El Farag Corridor

Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – Presidential Assistant for the National and Strategic Projects was in a surprise visit to the New Capital Project to follow up the work progress and the execution rates in the residential district – 8th neighborhood in 6th District and the utilities and roadways of the 550 feddans which carrying out by national companies. Eng. Mohsen Salah – Chairman of the Arab Contractors stated that the Arab Contractors Company currently working on the utilities for 550 fed. In addition to the roads works which reached 1.3 million m. Concerning  the residential district there are 1500 housing units  were executing out of 12 000 units for 44 buildings out of 60 buildings with a varied space from 110 m – 180 m (middle – Luxurious). Each building consisting of: a ground floor, a basement and 4 floors. In addition to these, there is ongoing works of the interior roads which reach 6km in the residential district. It is noteworthy that more than 7 branches participated in this project with more than 4000 workers and 150 equipment and the work is going 24 hours/7 days. Then Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab and Eng. Mohsen Salah visited Rod El Farag Corridor which is considered one of the mega projects implemented by the  Arab Contractors currently for the Engineering Authority for the Military Forces (Military Engineers Department) under the supervision of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities and the works is going on according the stated time schedule.
