Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation witnesses the singing of dredging works contract in South East of Al Diba Triangle strait as a part of the emergency solution for the development of Manzala Lake 2nd phase with a total cost EGP108 million, the beneficiary is the General Egyptian Authority for Beaches Protection affiliated to Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. Eng. Mohamed El Hosseiny – Head of Sector and Manager of Marine Structures stated that the project aiming at enhancing the water flow and quality inside Al Diba Triangle strait to develop Manzala Lake, increase the fisheries and enhance the investment in the field of the fish farming. The total amount of the dredging works reached 2500 thousands m3 and will be executed within 8 months.
