Within the framework of Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – the Egyptian Prime Minister touring visit to AC projects in Dakahlia, he visited the following projects: restoration and sustaining of Dakahlia Security Building and Meet Ghamr Waste Water Plant with total value EGP 270 million and some of the water projects such as: Meniat El Nasr Water Plant and El Daraksa Manhole.
Firstly, he visited the restoration project of Dakahlia Security Building which divided into 3 phases; 1st phase scope of works: restoration, sustaining and increasing the capacity of 4 higher floors, ground floor and the basement (2200m? for each floor) – firefighting works – water tanks – air conditioning – elevators with total value EGP 28.5 million. The 2nd phase scope of works: a slight floor for the general security on 1800m? includes 4 higher for the guards, kitchen, and restaurant for the body guards with total value EGP 5.2 million. The 3rd phase scope of works is the restoration and development of the Information Center on 1500m?. Prime Minister ordered to accomplish and re-operating the center by the next October celebration.
Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab toured Meet Ghamr Wastewater Plant which executed by North Delta Branch, serving half million people with a total capacity 40 thousands m?/day. The project scope of works: sand isolation unit, entrance, clarifiers, conditioning tank, biological treatment, manhole for the outcomes of the drying and sludge basins, transformer building, low pressure chamber, generator, fuel tank, chloride injection building, main gravity networks 25km (175mm-1000cm).
Besides; he visited Meet Ghamr gravity networks in addition to 2 culverts of the micro-tunneling beneath El Rayahh El Tawfiki and Mansoura/Banha Highway, pipe jacking culverts beneath Meet Ghamr-Zagazig Railway, 3 pumping stations and drainage lines 4.5km from ductile cast iron 700mm, the serving buildings including: administrative buildings – workers housing – a mosque – a warehouse – a parking – a workshop – guarding chamber. It will be accomplished by the end of the year.
