Minister of Interiors inaugurated central prison in “May 15” city. Cairo security Chief Osama Bedir stated that the project objectives are: to develop the security performance in the ministry, applying the law according to the human rights standards. He thanked Eng. Mohsen Salah AC Chairman and the AC Company for the exhorted efforts to accomplish the project according to the highest quality within 8 months.
It is noteworthy that the project built upon 12 feddans and accommodating 4000 prisoners. The project includes: 8 wards, administrative buildings, clinic, visiting and services buildings – laundry – kitchen – fences – guarding towers- gates. The prison buildings were equipped with firefighting network – Medium Voltage Plates – transformers – cables – phase plates – lighting works – telephone cables – alarming – intercom – central satellite – ventilation hoods.
Eng. Soliman Younis – Head of Greater Cairo Sector stated that the project carried out by Helwan, Nasr City Branches and Electrical Works Department.
