Minister of State for Urban Development and Slum Areas -Dr. Laila Iskander witnesses the signature of the employing of the youth workers who trained on finishing and painting works among the Arab Contractors teamwork for the development of 4 slums; in Cairo: Manshaet Nasser - Ezzbet Kheir Allah, in Giza: Abou Qatada – El Bahr El Aazam. Eng. Emad Mounir – the Manager of Monument Restoration Department stated that the project value is EGP 33 million. The project comes within the framework of the ministry program to gather the youth inhabitants of the aforementioned slums and training them of the crafts enhancing their incomes – which consider part of the human resources' development and step forth to implement the social and economic development programs, execution of the urban development and beautification plan in cooperation with the inhabitants. Besides, providing the vocational training which accommodate with the requirements of the business market and the experiences, skills of the youth. Mr. Ahmed Nazmi – the HR Manager of the Monument Restoration Department added that the youth of these slums will be employed within the duration of this program only.
