Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities and Giza Governor inaugurated Cairo University's pedestrian bridge which contributes in the safe traffic crossing in front of the university and solving the traffic rush in Saft El Labn Corridor affecting all the directions in Giza Governorate. The bridge is 30m including 4 concrete granite cover ladders, 4 escalators and 4 lifts for handicapped. The whole bridge is steel structure covered with poly carbonate sheets to protect citizens from severe sun waves and rain. The project total cost is EGP 10 million.
