Prime Minister Inaugurated Nubia Port Development Project

Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – Prime Minister inaugurated the development works in Nubiaa Navigation Port which has become equivalent to the mega international ports concerning their design and equipping to accommodate the travellers.
The deputy branch manager and the technical office manager declared that the total cost of the executed works reached EGP 265 million including 3 imports and exports areas (110.000m) accommodate 25 serving buildings, cars and trucks’ shades, travelling and arrival hall, reception, cafeteria, free market, shops, tourism office, controlling tower (5 floors).
Eng. Hala Kamal – Manager of Electrical Works Department declared that the total electrical works cost EGP 31 million includes: medium voltage works (distributor – connection panels – 8 ring main units - 8 transformers- cables); low voltage works (main distribution panels – sub main distribution panels-cables). Eng. Mohammed Youssef El Naggar – Deputy Branch Manager added that they implemented light current works (telephones – fire alarm – voice command cameras – projector – information system – car entry and exit – smart cards) for the ports inside the buildings, parks and general site.
In addition to these, Electrical Works Manager stated that the branch is executing Al Adabyia Port in Suez with a total cost EGP 23 million. The project scope of work : 2 cargo parks, arrival halls and the development of the current port.
