Cooperation Protocol between the Education Ministry and the Arab Contractors Company to Develop 6 Technical Schools

Dr. Mahmoud Aboul Nasr – Minister of Education attended the signing of the cooperation protocol between the Education Ministry and the Arab Contractors Company to develop 6 schools in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Suez and Ismailia.
Eng. Mohsen Salah – AC Chairman and Dr. Mohammed Youssef - Deputy Minister for Technical Education and Vocational Training who declared that the project is within the framework of the ministry’s effort to develop the technical education and vocational training in the different field of building and construction, providing distinguished job opportunities required by the business market.
Eng. Mohsen Salah – AC Chairman expressed his pleasure to cooperate with the Ministry of Education in this distinguished project for more than 7 years. He stated that the project objective to have a new generation graduated from the industrial secondary schools able to carry the responsibility, acknowledge the state of the art techniques in the building and construction industry; consequently they will have job opportunities inside Egypt and abroad, contribute in providing the market requirements from this training workers.
Eng. Sherief Hamdy – Manager of the Technical and Vocational Training Department added that the protocol includes the development of Nasr City, El Salam, Abou Rawash and Suez Industrial Secondary Schools. Besides, the development of Ismailia, El Shatby Mechanical Secondary Schools. He refers that the company role has 3 axes; the first one is the minute selection of the students and provide the practical, health and moral following-up for them each Saturday in the company workshops in Gesr El Suez and training center for equipment in Shoubra on the following crafts: (carpentry – paintings – ceramic installation – cars mechanics – welding – plumbing - internal electrical installation) at the end of the phase the students will have experience certificates from the AC.
The Second axis is to raise the efficiency of manpower school by giving training courses for teachers in different disciplines and in the administrative aspects.
The Third axis is the company role in developing workshops in these schools and provides them with equipment, tools and maintenance.
