Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities and Luxor Governor inaugurated the main pumping station no. 6 in Esna Wastewater Project serving 350.000 persons, Mansheat El Aamary Wastewater Project serving 125.000 persons in Mansheat El Aamary and 24 Nagaa.
Both the Minister and the Governor started their tour by visiting Esna Potable Water Station serving 350.000 person and will be implemented sooner. Besides, they inspected the expansion works of New Teba Water Station.
It is noteworthy that Esna Wastewater Project with a total capacity 36.000m³/day and its cost is EGP 300 million, the total cost of Mansheat El Aamary Wastewater Project is EGP 50 million. The capacity of Esna Potable Water Station is 120.000m³/day; the 1st phase is 60.000m³/day. The total cost of the station and 105 km of Networks is EGP 300 million. Regarding to the expansion works of New Teba Station which aiming to increase the station capacity from 200l/sec. to 400l/sec. with a total cost EGP 40 million.
