Assiut Governor Laid the Foundation Stone for El Walidya Water Station and 30 June Bridge Worth EGP 275 Million

Assiut Governor, AC Assiut and South Valley Head of Sector and Assiut Branch Manager laid the foundation stone for El Walidya Water Station with a total cost EGP 250 million and 30 June Bridge Project with a total cost EGP 25 million.
It is noteworthy that the station’s total capacity is 153 thousand m³/day and divided into 2 phases. The First phase with a total capacity 51 thousand m³/day, the Second phase with a total capacity 102 thousand m³/day. The scope of works includes the construction of networks with total length 40km, diameters varied from 1000mm to 300mm and its execution period is 36 months. It aims at enhancing the water pressure in Assiut City, serving its surroundings villages (El Walidya – Menqbad – Salam – Baheeg – El A'dr – Bani Hussein – Nagaa Sabaa – Nogoa Bani Hussein – El Hassani – El Eissawya – Nagaa Abdel Rasoul). Concerning the bridge, its total length is 600m. It aims to construct higher viaducts to facilitate traffic in El Magzoub Square and the intersection of  Saad Zaghloul street with El Esaaf street; besides linking Gesr El Sultan with  El Magzoub Square. Its execution period is 18 months.
