Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, General Tarek El Mahdi – Alexandria Governor, Eng. Mohsen Salah – AC Chairman, Eng. Hossam Imam and Eng. Salah El Zahed – AC Board Members, Eng. Mohammed Fouad – Head of Sector, Eng. Aly El Garhi – Manager of Alexandria Branch and Eng. Tarek Abdel Salam – the Project Manager inaugurated the expansion of Khorshid and El Zawidah Wastewater Treatment Plant with a total cost EGP 160 million.
The Project Manager declared that the plant capacity is 35.000m³/day. It is serving the following regions: Khorshid – El Zawidah – El Marazi – El Rahma – Shaker – El Tawfikia. The project will be benefit for half million persons. The project scope of work: 12 sludge tanks – Administrative building – buildings for: labs – transformers – chlorine – generators; and pumps room.
