Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Dr. Ashraf El Araby – Minister of Planning, Dr. Galal El Said – Cairo Governor and Eng. Mohsen Salah – AC Chairman toured the project of 15 May New Market .
Eng. Mamdouh Zabib – Manager of Construction and Housing Compounds, the executing department of the project declared that the new market is an integrated comprehensive one which includes 979 shops (spaces varied from 17 to 49 m) built upon 13000 m². it encompasses another market inside for the salesmen built upon 5000 m², office station, ambulance, cafeterias, microbuses and buses station, generators and transmissions building, administrative building built upon 1300 m² to manage the market, a mosque on 1200 m².
Eng. Mamdouh stated that according to the directions of the Minister of Housing, the market will be accomplished next March with a total cost EGP 145 million.
