AC Carring Out Water Desalination Plant in Basrah Worth 270 million Euro

AC Chairman stated that the AC has been awarded a mega strategic project to execute Water Desalination Plant in Basrah - Iraq. It is a consortium between the AC, a Japanese company and a French company with a total cost 270 million Euro.
In addition to these; the AC negotiated with a Japanese company to execute another two projects in Iraq that Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – Minister of Housing urges the company to expand in the aboard projects.
Eng. Sherif Habib – AC Vice President supervising Iraq Branch stated that the project capacity is 199,000m³/day serving Basrah City as a whole. The project will be executed on a record time according to the scheduled time defined by the Iraqi Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works. The project is one of the mega projects executed by the AC in Iraq such as: the Development of Both Sides of the Army Canal, Diwania Power Plant and Al-Samawah Hospital.
