Minister of Housing and Qalioupia Governor Touring Demlo Wastewater Station, Shebeen El Qanater Potable Water Station and Ahmed Orabi Viaduct

Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab – Minister of Housing, Qalioubia Governor inaugurated Demlo Wastewater station in Banha. They were accompanied by AC Chairman, Head of the Executive Authority for Potable Water and Wastewater, Eng. Imam Afifi- AC Board Member, Eng. Mohamed Fawzy – Head of Sector and Eng. Mohamed El Sokry – East and Middle Delta Branch Manager. The Branch Manager declared that the station aimed at promoting the sewage service in Demlo and Mit Al Hofein Villages 6000m³/day using R.B.C system with a total value EGP 58 million.
Besides, they toured Shebeen El Qanater Potable Water Station which aiming at providing the potable water for about one million persons till 2040 with a total capacity 1000l/sec. in the First phase increased to 2000l/sec. in the Second phase serving Shebeen El Qanter and another 37 villages. The total cost of the two phases EGP 128 million.
Moreover; they toured Ahmed Orabi Viaduct in Shoubra El Kheima the work will start on it immediately. The viaduct will decrease the traffic on the governorate entry and linked to the Ring Road. The Minister stated that the arab Contractors Company will start the work in the viaduct immediately from its starting point to its end point at the Ring Road, he asked them to support the company and taking care of its equipment. Besides, he asserted that the subcontractors and workers will be selected from the district people.
