The celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Organization of African Unity/African Union (Golden Jubilee) at the Arab Contractors Sporting Club under the auspicious of Dr. Ossama El Hosseiny – Chairman of the AC, attended by the ambassadors and representatives of 20 African countries. The ceremony began by the National anthem of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the African Union. Then Mr. Aaron Ncubeh – the premier African Ambassador to Egypt gave a speech about the magnificent organization of the celebration, and then he talked about the establishment of organization which has a main objective to elevate the African continent to its appropriate position. A showy match presented by the African diplomats; the red and green teams' gained 3/3. Then, they played the main match between the Arab Contractors' junior team and the African Student team, and the AC team won by 3 to 1. Dr. Hosseiny met with the African ambassadors whom praised the good organization of the celebration. At the end of the celebration party Dr. Ossama El Hosseiny – the Chairman of the AC, Eng. Sherif Habib – the Chairman of the AC Sporting Club and Eng. Ashraf Rateb – the Board Member and awarded the cups, medal and appreciation certificates to the players and referees.
