The Minister of Transport and Alexandria Governor inaugurated the development works of Sidi Gaber Station in Alexandria. It was executed by the Arab Contractors Company with a total value EGP 225 million. Alexandria Branch Manager stated that the development works include the expansion of the inlets and outlets which serve more than 95% from the travellers in Alexandria. The pavements length has become 1800ML. besides, the project included the construction of information offices, air-conditioning halls to reserve tickets and old-age, handicapped elevators.
Moreover, the project scope of works included the construction of huge mall comprised two storey, multi-level garage accompanied the station encompass 850 car, it is considered the major garage in Alexandria.
